Wide AC Input Range on Eltek Valere Rectifier Provides Universal Solution for High-Power Telecom Applications

New X5000A4 Features Input Range of 208VAC – 480VAC; Delivers Power Levels for IPTV, Metro Ethernet, Other Next-Generation Applications

RICHARDSON, TX – Aug. 20, 2007 – Eltek Valere, a leading power system provider for telecommunication and industrial applications, today announced the X5000A4, a 100 amp, high-efficiency AC-DC power rectifier with wide AC input range, allowing it to be used in all high-power telecommunications applications.

With an input range of 208VAC to 480VAC, a carrier can standardize on the X5000A4 for all of its central office, mobile switching center, and datacenter applications.

The X5000A4 is a central component in Eltek Valere’s Scalable Power System, the company’s flagship offering for high-power applications. The Scalable Power System can be configured with any of Eltek Valere’s X5000 family of rectifiers for up to 10,000 amps of power in half the footprint of conventional power systems.

This universal rectifier provides the high power levels needed for IPTV, metro Ethernet, voice over IP and other next-generation applications while simplifying system engineering and installation, streamlining inventory management, and speeding deployment schedules.

“This new rectifier delivers the high-efficiency and power output that Eltek Valere customers expect, with operational efficiencies that will help to lower total cost of ownership,” said Greg Fasullo, Eltek Valere chief marketing officer. “This combination gives our customers cost competitiveness and high service quality to help them build highly competitive next-generation applications.” Read More...
